Uvalde EMS, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides 911 emergency care services to the citizens of Uvalde County, and mutual aid to Real and Zavala Counties.  We also provide emergency and non-emergency transports for Uvalde County and surrounding areas. 

 

Over the years, Uvalde EMS has grown from an all volunteer service responding to approximately 100 requests per month and using one ambulance; to today staffing three ambulances with a 24/7, 365 day-a-year paid staff responding to an average of 4,000 requests annually. All ambulances are staffed with highly trained EMT’s, Advanced EMT’s and paramedics.
